1. Who we are
RankPulse Audits is a sole-proprietor business operated by Borja Prados ("we", "us", "our"), providing local SEO audit services to roofing contractors and home-service businesses in the United States. Our website is rankpulse-audits.com and our contact email is hello@rankpulse-audits.com.
2. What information we collect
We collect only the information necessary to deliver our services:
- Payment information: Processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or billing address. Stripe provides us with: your email address, amount paid, and a transaction reference. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
- Business information: After purchase, you submit your business name, website URL, city, state, and optionally your first name via intake form. Used solely to generate your audit report.
- Email address: Collected via Stripe at purchase. Used to deliver your report and send follow-up communications related to your order.
- Website data: We access the publicly available HTML of your business website and public Google Business Profile signals to perform the audit. We do not access any password-protected or private areas of your website.
3. How we use your information
- To generate and deliver your SEO audit report
- To send your completed audit PDF by email
- To respond to support requests you initiate
- To send follow-up emails related to your purchase — you may opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe"
- To process refunds if requested within the refund window
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Third-party services
- Stripe (payment processing) — stripe.com/privacy
- Google PageSpeed Insights API (technical performance data) — Google's privacy policy applies
- Cloudflare (website hosting and CDN) — may log request metadata per their standard terms
- Anthropic / Claude API (AI-assisted report narration) — your business name and URL are processed. No personal data beyond business context is sent. See anthropic.com/privacy.
5. Cookies and tracking
RankPulse Audits does not set first-party cookies and does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioral tracking tools. Cloudflare may set a technical cookie (__cf_bm) for bot detection; it does not track you across sites and expires within 30 minutes.
6. Data retention
- Audit reports: Kept up to 12 months in case a copy is needed, then deleted.
- Order records: Retained for 5 years for accounting and tax purposes.
- Email correspondence: Retained as long as reasonably necessary for support, then deleted.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@rankpulse-audits.com. We will delete all personal data not required for legal compliance within 30 days.
7. Your rights (GDPR / EU visitors)
If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have rights under GDPR including: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. To exercise any right, email hello@rankpulse-audits.com. We respond within 30 days. Our legal basis for processing is contract performance (delivering your purchased audit) and legitimate interests (follow-up communications).
8. California residents (CCPA)
California residents may request disclosure of personal information we collect and may request its deletion. We do not sell personal information. Submit requests to hello@rankpulse-audits.com.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are directed to business owners and are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Security
Payment card data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers — all payment processing occurs on Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Email and audit files are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance.
